From writers, directors, showrunners, and producers to new media creators, AMG is committed to fostering Latino talent to meet the increased demand for authentic and diverse storytelling in Hollywood

LOS ANGELES - July 6th, 2022: Former NBCU executive John Pollak and actor, producer, and activist Wilmer Valderrama announced today the launch of Allied Management Group (AMG,) a forward-thinking management company focused on partnering with, collaborating, and representing the most sought after new and existing Latino voices across traditional and digital media. Their combined 40 years of US and global entertainment industry experience cement AMG as the strategic force to serve Hollywood and global audiences, who seek increased representation and authenticity in storytelling.
"Latino talent has traditionally been relegated to the Latin American arm of major Hollywood companies but thanks to an exciting industry shift bolstered by the rise of global streaming platforms, they are now a major part of the general US market. Our mission will be to champion current talent and discover new voices who can help create content that is relatable to all audiences including the 200% demographic - consumers who see themselves as both 100% American and 100% Latino," explained Pollak.
Pollak and Valderrama are co-founders and co-owners at AMG. After two decades in the entertainment business as both a global distribution head and producer, Pollak is no stranger to representing and managing content and partners domestically and internationally and will oversee day-to-day operations. Together, he and Valderrama will leverage their relationships and connections to support their artists as they bring forth the most sought after Latino content that the world has yet to see.
"As a community, it is vital that we see ourselves on screen – it shapes both how we see ourselves and how others see us. However, the reality is that there's an undeniable void of authentic stories being told by Latino voices and through the perspective of our creators. I am so excited to partner with John and the rest of the AMG team. Together we will discover and cultivate new voices, and help our talent deliver fresh, authentic Latino storytelling to audiences in the US and around the globe,'' stated Valderrama.
AMG, whose mission is to be the premier management company run by Latinos for the US market and Global audiences, will offer a wide array of services that encompass not only partnering with coveted forward-thinking creators such as Dhana Media, the company behind Maradona: Blessed Dream/Amazon led by creatives and producers Mari Urdaneta and Liliana Moyano, but also with the best Latino-first agencies and talent managers. This collaboration will allow them to share resources and open doors to the highest levels of executives throughout Hollywood to produce and play in premium content.
AMG’s roster of clients already includes some of the most acclaimed Latino creators in the industry such as:
- Dhana Media (Maradona: Blessed Dream/Amazon; The Jenni Rivera Story/Univision), led by producers Mari Urdaneta and Liliana Moyano;

Actor, producer and activist Wilmer Valderrama has been making audiences laugh, listen and think for nearly two decades. Perhaps most recognized for his role as exchange student ‘Fez’ on the Emmy-nominated series That 70s Show, he currently stars in the #1 TV drama NCIS on CBS. It was recently announced that he is developing a live-action “Zorro” series at Disney Branded Television in which he will star and executive produce. The project both marks the return of Zorro to the Disney family as well as a lifelong dream for Valderrama to bring this iconic character to life. On the big screen, he most recently lent his voice to the hit Academy Award-winning Disney animated film Encanto. Other past film and TV credits include the indie-drama Blast Beat, Netflix animated film Dog Gone Trouble, the Academy Award-nominated Disney animated film Onward, the first Latino Prince Charming in the animated film Charming for Netflix, Disney's hugely popular animated children’s show Handy Manny, Netflix’s The Ranch, ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino’s television series From Dusk Till Dawn.
Behind the camera, Valderrama and his production company WV Entertainment recently renewed their first-look deal with CBS TV Studios. Most recently, the company announced the straight-to-series drama Keep This to Yourself for Telemundo’s linear network and TPlus brand on Peacock. Other projects in development include the family comedy Mexican Beverly Hills, dark comedy Hipster Death Rattle based on the book by Riche Narvaez, and the WWII drama Patriots From the Barrio based on the book by Dave Gutierrez. The company also recently partnered with Clamor to produce the popular podcast “Essential Voices with Wilmer Valderrama” for iHeartMedia’s My Cultura. Valderrama also created and produced the MTV series Yo Momma, also serving as the host for all three seasons.
Outside of acting and producing, Valderrama is active in several philanthropic agencies including HARNESS, which he co-founded with America Ferrara and Ryan Piers William to connect communities through conversation to inspire action and power change. He also serves on the board of Voto Latino, a spokesperson for the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), and a USO Global Ambassador. In 2013, Valderrama was honored with an ALMA Award for Outstanding Social Activism.
