Following Premier Padel’s tournaments earlier this year in Puerto Cabello, Venezuela and Acapulco, Mexico and a stint in Europe, the tour heads back to South America, kicking off the action on 14 May in Asuncion, Paraguay. From there, the tour moves to Mar del Plata, Argentina, starting 20 May, before concluding this leg of the global tour in Santiago, Chile on 27 May.
Asuncion P2 marks the seventh event taking place in the 2024 Premier Padel Calendar, which spans 25 tournaments across 18 countries. Each tournament will bring together top padel players from across the globe, with beIN SPORTS showcasing the talent and competitiveness of the sport on an international stage.
The next three competitions promise to be fiercer than ever, with top-ranked players including Agustin Tapia, Federico Chingotto, Virginia Riera and Delfina Brea Senesi preparing to battle it out on home turf.
Since launching in 2022, Premier Padel has become one of the fastest growing tours in world sport. Over 500 male players from around the world competed in Premier Padel tournaments in its first year, playing in some of the most iconic venues in sports history including at Stade Roland-Garros in Paris. Over 110 leading professional female players joined Premier Padel in March 2023. Premier Padel has secured multi-year broadcast agreements that cover 180+ countries reaching over 150 million households, while the first two Premier Padel seasons attracted almost 25 million views on YouTube. The tour concludes with the first-ever edition of the Premier Padel Tour Finals which will take place in Barcelona on December 18-22, 2024 and will see the top-ranked pairs battle it out for the final trophy of the 2024 Premier Padel season.
