After retiring in 2017, Melissa transitioned to a successful broadcasting career with Warner Bros Discovery as a sideline reporter and analyst on TNT for US Women’s and Men’s National Team matches, and hosts U.S. Soccer Stories on TruTV. She has also covered two FIFA World Cups with Fox Sports, earning a Webby Award. As an entrepreneur, Melissa co-founded Kickoff Coffee Co, a specialty coffee brand that donates 10% of its profits to soccer foundations promoting social justice and development. Driven by the motto "Inspire a Generation," Melissa is dedicated to empowering young girls, inspiring others, and being a role model for future generations.
